 GORDON COLLEGE......!


One of my favorite things in the world is work with teams at Youth World and so the last week we had the chance to welcome the Gordon College Team, it was a team of 17 students and professors that came down from Boston, they were working at my Church Cristo Liberador for 3 days and also they were working at El Refugio for another 3 days.
what a blast was work with these guys, playing with the Kids, sanding and painting walls and some faces too; Some of them had the chance to share their testimonials with the community at Cristo and it's just impressive the way that God works through all of us to make his Mission happen.

 Life is not easy and when we have to go through some many rough times in our lives it's because of a purpose, God only prepares his best soldiers with the worst things to have them ready for the battle.!
These guys came here with no idea of what was going to happen, and after 8 days working here in Ecuador they just realize that the love of God is without bordes even with some language probems, culture things and some many differences between countries, God is God and God is Good.

We just need to go out of our comfortable zone, that huge bubble that is taking us inside andis not letting us see the real world and the work that God is calling us to do.! Now you are in a comfortable place maybe it's your home, your college, your office but who knows? maybe God is calling you to do Mission where the faith seems lose.

QUITO QUEST STAFF


We can't forget about who's behind of all of this, our Director of Short-Term Teams ( Daniela Pojmaevich ) and our Short-Term Teams Coordinator ( Maria Isabel Bajaña ) such an amazing souls working a the service of God, they like to take care of the teams that come down to Ecuador and actually  both of them were helping us with the Gordon Team, Please pray for this women that God gives them Wisdom and decision in God's will.



 SOMETHING YOU CAN PRAY FOR:

* Please pray the lives of the members of Gordon College  so they can give fruit in their homes and communitys and also for all the teams that have been here .
* Pray for the Youth World Staff and all the ministries they are working in
* For the new internts and the teams who are coming to work in Quito this summer
* and also for the Ministry Sites who are going to be touch and blessed by the teams

Keep Going, Keep Growing.

Beloved friends, it’s been a great and busy summer. I had the opportunity to work and hang out with teams from the U.S. Go to trainings and conferences. Visit new ministry sites and teach at my local church. It is always fun and exciting to welcome old and new friends in Ecuador. I helped with 4 Episcopal Churches this summer: - St. Paul’s - Georgia. - Holy Cross - South Carolina. - Chapel of the Cross - North Carolina. - St. James - North Carolina. Some of my dear friends and sponsors for many years were part of these teams. I was over the moon happy to have the opportunity to hang out, work, laugh, learn and more with them. With some teams we worked at my Church Cristo Liberador. The teams and the community did a lot of construction work in the building, where the new Sanctuary will be at.
